Lou Pichoun Tseung Kwan O is an AEFE accredited school for its French program.
AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad) is the government institution supervised by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is responsible for monitoring the quality of 566 accredited French schools abroad. Students of this program gain priority to enrol in other AEFE schools worldwide.

In June 2025, Lou Pichoun proudly became the first school in Hong Kong to be awarded the EFE3D Level 2 certification (Établissement Français en Démarche de Développement Durable) by the AEFE. This recognition highlights our active role in promoting sustainable development within education.
This certification reflects our whole-school sustainability approach, where eco-responsible habits, daily waste management, and hands-on eco-projects with local communities are part of everyday life. By integrating sustainability into every aspect of school life—and thanks to the dedication of our team and the active involvement of our students—we aim to raise environmental awareness and inspire future generations to take meaningful action for the planet.

Lou Pichoun is a French Preschool established in 1997 in Hong Kong. Lou Pichoun Tseung Kwan O opens its door in January 2019, opposite to the French International School.
Although Lou Pichoun is a private school which follows the French National Education Official Bulletin for the French stream and early years foundation stage in terms of programs and objectives. Our pedagogical team contributes to the rich content of the various activities offered at Lou Pichoun, which, besides the academic goals for each age, always put an emphasis on the development of artistic skills.
Apart from Preschool programs, Lou Pichoun offers playgroups for 13 to 24 months in French, English or Mandarin. Our wide range of fun and interactive playgroup activities is designed to improve your child’s emotional, cognitive, physical development and social skills – a great opportunity for children to interact with peers and get ready for preschool.
Lou Pichoun also organizes a wide range of After School programs for children between 2 to 6 years old to get together after school and learn while having fun. These activities include visual arts, music, singing, foreign languages, yoga, Lego education and many more. What’s more, during every school vacation, Lou Pichoun offers Holiday Camps in English, French and Mandarin, all designed to give your child an opportunity to open up to multiple experiences.
